StartupCincy Brand Exploration
StartupCincy is positioned as a flexible brand, adjusting to fit relevantly in the themes of each year. This specifically revolved around the annual StartupCincy Week conference that takes place in October. This conference brings together founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and executives to discuss the Cincinnati startup community at length. The following brand represents the theme: It Takes A Village.

DESIGN PROCESS
Let's take a look at how we got here.
With an established underlying brand, flexing the existing elements that represent StartupCincy was difficult. With the support of an experienced full-time team, I spent most of my internship at Cintrifuse expanding the assets used for StartupCincy Week 2024 (SUCW24) through the lens of what might be meaningful to the Cincinnati startup community.
We experimented extensively with hand-drawn elements developed by an external agency, creating graphics, marketing materials, signage, and merchandise that resonated with SUCW24's target audiences.
This is the first time I've truly interacted with organic, hand-drawn elements, making this learning curve one of the most extensive curves I had experienced at the time. This also required me to quickly become familiar with creating video content for multiple channels and in multiple aspect ratios at a fast pace, cooperating with the StartupCincy social media channels with full-time marketing staff.
